Suzuki Mehran was first introduced to the Pakistani market in 1989, with a selling price of PKR.90,000 and was sold for about PKR 860000.in 2019. The company has sold around 29,000 units per year since then. In April 2019 Suzuki announced that the famous hatchback would be phased out of production in replace of 8th generation Alto in Pakistan. However, it did sell the units that had already been built for the next year until June 2020. The car was first sold for Rs. 90,000 32 years ago, and the last sale price for the VX model was Rs. 825,000 in February of 2019. That's a huge 817 percent increase in price.
